I was graciously given an ARC of All The Things We Were by Kayla Tirrell in exchange for a review.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

I’ve been anxiously waiting to read All The Things We Were ever since reading All The Things We Lost and All The Things We Found. It definitely lived up to all the hype I gave it.

This book focuses on Michelle, the not so nice girl from the first two books in the series. I always felt there was more to be said for Michelle, so even though I’m sure she was written to be a hated character, I always had a soft spot for her. This book definitely lived up to all those expectations. There is definitely more to Michelle than just being cold hearted.  There is so much family drama with Michelle, which definitely has an effect on her life and how she views everything around her.

At the beginning of the story, her father cuts her off and forces her to work at his bookstore. Enter Rainier and things get so interesting. These two couldn’t be anymore different, but somehow they’re drawn to each other.

I felt connected to this story line in so many ways. First in that my own husband and I are such different people, but we fell in love quickly. Secondly in that my husband is also in a band and that is actually how we met.

Though there are a few pieces of information that ties this book into the first two books in the series, it is definitely a book that can be read as a stand alone.

Kayla Tirrell has also graciously allowed me to host a giveaway for an ebook copy of All The Things We Were! The giveaway will be open from October 18, 2017 until midnight EST on October 27, 2017.
