Rereading a book is like stepping back into a comfortable environment with some of your closest friends. It’s one of my favorite things about being a reader. I love getting to experience these amazing worlds and stories that are created over and over again.
I’ve always loved rereading books, but recently, I’ve come to appreciate a reread so much more than I ever have. Along with attempting to read through the thirty-six lowest rated books on my physical TBR, I also plan to reread two or three books each month.
My list of rereads includes everything from series that I want to go back to, standalones that captured my heart, and some books that I was honestly shocked I loved so much. Some of the books I plan to reread this year include:
- An Enchantment of Ravens
- Brightly Burning
- The Mortal Instruments
- A Court of Thorns and Roses series
- Throne of Glass series
- The Lunar Chronicles
- Foolish Hearts
- Heart of Iron
- Stay Sweet
- Starry Eyes
There’s many more I hope to reread this year, but the list is long and I could go on for awhile. Some I plan to reread in preparation for upcoming sequels and others I want to get back to just because I love the story so much.
What are your thoughts on rereads? Do you reread books?
