51398344_347586622749155_8113052974281916416_nAlright, January has (almost) ended, so it’s time for my wrap up! For this month, I had a TBR of thirteen books along with a list of two ARCs I wanted to get to this month.I ended up switching the books I was planning on reading mid-month, because I knew there were certain books I just wouldn’t be able to get to, so I wanted to save them for a month where I would be able to appreciate them fully! I ended up reading eleven books, and I DNF’d one other.

Of the twelve books I read this month (including the one I did not finish), six were part of a series, four were standalones, and two were ARCs. Four of the books I read this month were rereads, while the other eight were not. For authors, I read one book by a male author, two by a duo of authors, and nine by female authors.

For format of the books I read, two of them were eArcs, three were physical novels, one was an ebook, and the rest were audiobooks.

Here is a breakdown of the books I read, and the reviews I gave them!
Only A Breath Apart – Katie McGarry (eArc, four stars)
Lair of Dreams – Libba Bray (audio, four and a half stars)
Red Queen – Victoria Aveyard (audio, four stars)
Illuminae – Jay Kristoff, Amie Kaufmann (ebook, five stars)
Before the Devil Breaks You – Libba Bray (audio, four stars)
Teen Idol – Meg Cabot (audio, four and a half stars)
Handmaid’s Tale – Margaret Atwood (paperback, five stars)
King’s Cage – Victoria Aveyard (audio,four stars)
What If It’s Us – Becky Albertali, Adam Silvera (physical, five stars)
Glass Sword – Victoria Aveyard (audio, four stars)
The Last Unicorn – Peter S. Beagle (physical, five stars)
Crazy, Cupid Love – Amanda Heger (eArc, DNF, two stars)
I think that the best book I read this month was What If It’s Us. Becky and Adam just know how to tug on my heartstrings!

How did you do this month? What all did you read?

Happy Reading!
