It’s officially the last day of February and am I so very glad it is. February was unfortunately not the best month for me in regards to my personal life as well as reading. While I still did manage to read 23 books in February, there was several days during the month where I didn’t pick up a book at all.

Of the twenty-three books I read this month, eleven were part of a series, seven were standalones, and five were ARCs. Five of the books I read this month were rereads, while the other seventeen were not. For authors, I read one book by a male author and twenty-one by female authors. I also had one DNF this month, but that was because the book was due back to the library and not because I wasn’t enjoying it.

For format of the books I read, thirteen of them were physical books, four were ebooks, one was an audiobook and five were ARCs. All five ARCs I read in February were ebooks.

Like January, I mostly read young adult this month with a few adult books and one children’s book.

In regards to genres, I read:

  • 17 Contemporaries or 73.9%
  • 2 Fantasies or 8.7%
  • 3 Graphic Novels of 13.04%
  • 1 Mystery or 4.35%

Most of the books this month were four star reads for me. I had a few five stars throughout the month as well. My star ratings for the month were:

1 Star 1.5 Stars 2 Stars 2.5 Stars 3 Stars 3.5 Stars 4 Stars 4.5 Stars 5 Stars
0 0 0 0 1 1 12 4 5

In regards to my challenges for the month, I didn’t do so well. Of the five books that Melanie picked for me, I only got to one of them and I’m not sure if I’ll try to fit them in for March or not. As for the three lowest rated books that I had on my February TBR, I read two of them and plan to read the third one in March.

In February, the books I read were:

  1. King of Scars
  2. No Love Allowed
  3. Famous in a Small Town
  4. No Holding Back
  5. The Deceivers
  6. A Girl Like Her
  7. Courtside Crush
  8. No Second Chances
  9. Diplomatic Immunity
  10. The Wicker King
  11. Royal Bastards
  12. Drift Heat
  13. Broken Drift
  14. Fence Vol 1
  15. When Summer Ends
  16. The Weight of the Stars
  17. Geekerella
  18. Fence Vol 2
  19. The Poet X
  20. Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss
  21. The Way You Make Me Feel
  22. The Tea Dragon Society

The Wicker King was my absolute favorite of this month. It exceeded my expectations so much and honestly surprised me how much I enjoyed it.

What did you read this month? Did you meet the goals you set for yourself for this month?
