It’s time for a new month and a new TBR and I’m so very glad! After the rough month I had in February, I’m so ready for a better month and a new set of books to read.

In March, I’m planning to participate in the TBR and Beyond group reads, the TBR and Beyond game, Reading Rivalry, as well as my own challenges I set for myself.

For Reading Rivalry, each month there are ten criteria. This month the criteria is as follows:

  1. Author Highlight: Jane Austen, Angie Thomas, Ruth Ware, Tahereh Mafi
  2. Book with Multiple Cover Art Editions
  3. Read Another Book by Your New Favorite Author
  4. Book with a “praise for” section on the front or back cover
  5. Book with the title in Green, Purple, or Gold
  6. Book featuring a taboo subject
  7. Book celebrating/involving the arts
  8. Book with more than 100,000 ratings on Goodreads
  9. Book with the Main Character on the Cover
  10. A Historical Mystery

For TBR and Beyond, the group reads are On the Come Up by Angie Thomas, Song of the Dead by Sarah Glenn Marsh, and Warrior of the Wild by Tricia Levenseller. Along with discussing the books, there will also be live chats with Sarah Glenn Marsh and Tricia Levenseller during March. This month’s game is all about strong women in our history and the prompts are based on certain aspects of their achievements or what they’re passionate about.

  • Red Sister by Mark Lawrence
  • Red Rising by Pierce Brown
  • Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
  • Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer
  • The Serpent King by Jeff Zetner

Like previous months, I pulled three books from my jar to make my choices for what I’ll be reading from my lowest rated list. I didn’t get to one of them last month so I’ll be adding that book, Off the Ice by Julie Cross, on this month and will be doing a combined wrap up for February and March once I’ve finished them all. The books I pulled this month are:

  • The Season by Jonah Lisa Dyer and Stephen Dyer
  • Spindle Fire by Lexa Hillyer
  • What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick

For the rest of my TBR for March, I’m keeping it fairly short and easy when it comes to the physical books to not overwhelm myself as I want to work on several ARCs in March.

  • Warrior of the Wild
  • On the Come Up
  • Stalking Jack the Ripper
  • Hunting Prince Dracula
  • Escaping from Houdini
  • Throne of Glass

My ARC section of my TBR is substantially larger than the physical books I hope to get to.

  • Hurricane Season
  • Fallen Star
  • Ice Hot
  • A Monster Like Me
  • The Truth About Leaving
  • Red, White, and Royal Blue
  • Eyes on Me
  • You’d Be Mine
  • King of Fools
  • Up For Air
  • Happy Messy Scary Love
  • Storm and Fury

What’s on your TBR for March?
Felicia
