Ravenclaw TBR – June 2019

51064637_230823194536734_7073384732158853120_nI’m very excited for my June TBR! I’m out of school for the summer, so I’ve got a LOT of time on my hands to read! I’m trying to keep my TBR really small, but once I finish it, I’ll be grabbing books at random, and I can’t wait!

I did still need to fit my TBR into criteria for Reading Rivalry, so 10 books had to be chosen to fulfill all of those! The theme is based on Rainbow Rowell, so I managed to include two of her novels into my TBR.

Reading Rivalry Criteria:
1. Author Highlight (Stephen King, Sarah J. Maas, Rainbow Rowell, Taylor Jenkins Reid) – Fangirl (Rainbow Rowell)
2.  Book Involving a Video Game, Gamer, Or Virtual Reality – Gamer Girl (Mari Mancusi)
3.  Deceptive Cover (a book cover that doesn’t match the synopsis) – All The Bad Apples (Moira Fowley-Doyle)
4.  Book Involving Vikings – Warrior of the Wild (Tricia Levenseller)
5.  Book That Features a Trope In A Rainbow Rowell Book – Getting Hot With The Scot (Melonie Johnson)
6.  Author Who Has The Same First and Last Initial – Girls of Paper and Fire (Natasha Ngan)
7.  Book Featuring a Rainbow, or All The Colors of a Rainbow – Eleanor and Park (Rainbow Rowell)
8.  Book Featuring A Road Trip – A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue (Mackenzi Lee)
9.  A Contemporary or Coming of Age Novel – Always and Forever, Lara Jean (Jenny Han)
10. Book That Features a Drink On The Cover – Wishful Drinking (Carrie Fisher)

I definitely took some liberties with criteria seven! Technically there is no actual rainbow on the cover of Eleanor & Park…but the author’s name is on the cover, so it still counts!

I’ll also be reading two other books this month, both of them are ARCs that I’m very excited to review!
Smitten By The Brit
Once Upon A Bad Boy
Both novels are by Melonie Johnson, and, along with Getting Hot With The Scot, they round out the “Sometimes In Love” trilogy.

Have you read any of the things I’m planning for June?
What’s on your June TBR?

Happy Reading!
Stephanie!
