There are only two months left in 2019! I seriously can’t believe it. It feels like this year has absolutely flown by and now I only have a little bit of time left to read all the things before it’s over.
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
There aren’t any books that I started that I still need to finish. Usually if I decide to stop reading a book, I don’t intend to pick it up again. The few books that I’ve decided to not finish this year aren’t one I plan to pick back up.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I don’t believe so. I don’t typically read based on the season and only read books set in that season.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Yes! I’m very much looking forward to Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw, The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black, and Supernova by Marissa Meyer.
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
I think I’m going to answer this question with one book from my backlist, one that I have as an ARC, and one new release that I want to read before the end of the year.
For the backlist title, I really hope to get to Queen of Ruin by Tracy Banghart. The ARC that I want to prioritize is The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams. Finally for a new release book, I definitely think Winterwood by Shea Ernshaw tops it for the one I want to get to the most.
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?
I definitely think Winterwood could possibly surprise me and become a favorite. I really loved The Wicked Deep so I have high hopes for it, but haven’t heard a lot about Winterwood so far.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
I definitely have started making plans for 2020! I already have an idea of how many books I hope to read, a list of most anticipated books, the ARCs I want to prioritize, and the ARCs that I hope to be able to get.
If you do this tag, I would love to see your answers!
