Ravenclaw – End of Year Book Tag

2019 has gone by so quickly! We only have 2 months left before next year! I’m so excited for 2020, but man, where did 2019 go?

I recently saw BooksandLala do this tag and I really loved it and wanted to do it as well. It was originally created by Ariel Bissett.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

Oddly, yes. I started reading The Last Unicorn in January and never finished it (I didn’t finish it before the end of the month, and then I just kept forgetting about it. 100% not DNF’ing it though! It’s so good!)

I also need to finish Eleanor Oliphant, but that one I might end up DNFing. The author’s style just doesn’t seem like it suits me.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

Nah, I generally just read things based on whatever the criteria is. I do have an autumn movie, but I’ve already watched it for this year (Its Rocky Horror – I watch it every spooky season!)

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

Yes! I can’t wait for Supernova by Marissa Meyer and Queen of Nothing by Holly Black!

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I really want to read Darkdawn and Aurora Rising. I’ve got so many other books that I want to read that it’s hard for me to choose a third here!

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

Maybe! I’ve still got a couple of my most anticipated 2019 releases to read, so it’s quite possible that one could steal the lead spot!

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

Yes and no, the past couple of months I’ve become a pants-er rather than a planner (you know, a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants person?). So I’ve definitely got books that I’m looking to read in 2020, but I haven’t set a goal, yet. I do have some blog stuff planned though!

If you do this tag, I would love to see your answers!

Happy reading!
Stephanie
